Sarah completed her Master of Social Work degree at Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
In her clinical training and employment, she has worked with individuals at the
London Health Sciences Centre, Parkwood Institute’s Regional Mental Health Care, Homewood Health’s Program for Traumatic Stress Recovery (PTSR), as well as a counselling agency and private practice.
Outside of work, Sarah loves to be active, and to spend time with family and friends. At present
she enjoys lifting weights, skiing, and has competed in sports such as powerlifting,
and long distance triathlons, including Ironman Wisconsin.
She has been part of the Toronto Mental Performance Consultation Group, is a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and loves to work
with athletes and other performers to strengthen their mental skills.
In addition, Sarah also has a Master of Divinity degree from Huron University College at Western University, and training in spiritual care. This provides a unique opportunity to bring spirituality into therapy sessions for clients who identify that this type of approach would be helpful.
